ABOUT ME

 Kryštof Doležal is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Political Science at Central European University. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University, awarded with distinction. His research focuses on party politics, Eastern Europe, political ideologies, and the role of religion in politics. In the 2026–27 academic year, he will be a Guido Goldman Fellow at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University.

Krystof has held research positions at the Institute of Human Sciences (IWM), European University Institute, Harvard, and Stanford. His work has been supported by the Fulbright Commission, the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and the Hoover Institution. His research appeared in Europe-Asia Studies, Politics, Religion & Ideology, and Journal of Democracy. Outside academia, Krystof served as a political advisor in Czech party politics and in the cabinet of the Vice Prime Minister.
